Two external RJ45 ports form part of the Beckhoff Automation EL6631-0010, which maps data between an EtherCAT terminal segment and a PROFINET RT Device. The topology is variable, while the Ethernet connection operates at 100 Mbit/s with automatic negotiation. Up to 100 m is specified for twisted-pair cables between two devices. The PROFINET implementation complies with RT Class 1 and Conformance Class B. The process image provides 1 kByte each for input and output data; the cycle time starts at 1 ms. Up to 238 submodules can be mapped per PROFINET Device. The terminal is powered via the E-Bus and typically draws 400 mA from it. Electrical isolation between the E-Bus and Ethernet is rated at 500 Veff. Status LEDs indicate diagnostic states, and configuration is performed in TwinCAT System Manager. In the horizontal installation position, the specified operating temperature range is 0 °C to +55 °C; for other installation positions it is 0 °C to +45 °C. The enclosure has an IP20 rating and mounts on a 35-mm mounting rail. Dimensions are approximately 26 × 100 × 52 mm; when installed in a terminal assembly, the width is 23 mm. The PROFINET Device terminal weighs approximately 75 g and follows the compact EtherCAT terminal format.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
