Danfoss VLT components for drive technology and maintenance
Danfoss VLT frequency inverters control the speed and processes of pumps, fans, conveyor systems and machine axes. Subject to availability, REHA-Components supplies drives and assemblies from the AutomationDrive FC 301 and FC 302, HVAC Drive FC 102, AQUA Drive FC 202 and Micro Drive FC 51 ranges, as well as components for older VLT 2800 and VLT 5000 installations.
Alongside complete inverters, depending on availability we also stock MCA and MCB communication cards for PROFIBUS, PROFINET and BACnet/IP, control boards and other VLT assemblies. Reliable identification requires the complete type code and product code from the nameplate; the power rating alone is not sufficient for Danfoss devices.
VLT drive technology
Distinguishing FC 102, FC 202 and FC 301/302 correctly
The VLT families are designed for different applications: FC 102 for HVAC and fan applications, FC 202 for water and pump systems, and FC 301 and FC 302 for general and dynamic automation drives. The same power rating therefore does not automatically mean the same configuration.
For replacement, compare the complete type code including power size, voltage class, enclosure or protection rating and option configuration. A photo of the complete nameplate considerably speeds up identification.
Communication and spare-parts requirements
Matching MCA, MCB and older VLT components
With Danfoss drives, the required function is often provided by a separate option card. PROFIBUS, PROFINET or BACnet/IP modules must match the VLT series, intended option slot and existing control system. The option designation and product code must therefore always be considered together.
Independent stock also includes complete inverters, control boards and individual assemblies for older VLT 2800 and VLT 5000 systems.
