Between the HEIDENHAIN-PWM interface and single- or two-axis inverter modules of the Siemens SIMODRIVE 611 system, the 324 952-03 interface board performs signal adaptation. It belongs to the 324 952-0x series without metallic insulation and is built as a multi-row board with D-Sub connectors. In addition to the PWM signals, it generates the inverted signals required by the inverter. The board routes inverter fault signals and undervoltage and overvoltage monitoring signals to the control system. For current actual-value processing, it records two phase currents and amplifies their actual values by a factor of 3 before transfer. The control system calculates the third phase current from these measured values. These functions concern signal transmission, current feedback, and the forwarding of monitoring information. X1 and X2 provide the connections to the logic unit; X351 connects the SIMODRIVE device bus. The K663 safety relay is assigned to pulse enable. When the relay is inactive, the PWM signals are not passed through to the inverter. The green IF LED indicates pulse enable. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
