Different mains voltages determine the assigned motor power of the Lenze EVF8218-E: for a four-pole asynchronous motor, 11 kW is intended at 400 V mains voltage, whereas 15 kW applies at 460 V. Both values apply to operation with 4 or 8 kHz switching frequency. The built-in device belongs to the Global Drive 8210 frequency inverter series and forms the power electronic stage between the supply and the three-phase motor. The permissible three-phase mains voltage range extends from 320 to 510 V at a mains frequency of 45 to 65 Hz. Alternatively, a DC voltage supply in the range of 450 to 715 V is provided. At the motor output, the rated current is 23.5 A at the switching frequencies mentioned. For short-term overload, an output current of 35.3 A for 60 seconds is specified. This is accompanied by a periodic load cycle with a subsequent two minutes of base load at 75 per cent of the rated current. Together, these time and current conditions form the 150 per cent overload characteristic of this version. In the quotation with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations, the EVF8218-E is classified according to its mains voltage and current data. With a mains filter or mains choke, the mains current is 20.5 A. The output frequency range starts at 0 Hz and can be set up to 480 Hz. The frequency resolution is 0.02 Hz; with digital setpoint selection, the accuracy is ±0.05 Hz. The higher switching frequency changes the current carrying capacity: at 12 kHz, the rated output current is 19.7 A on the 400-V mains and 18.5 A on the 460-V mains. At 16 kHz, these values are reduced to 17.6 and 16.5 A respectively. The power loss at rated current is 400 W.

Which motor power is assigned to the EVF8218-E?
At 400 V mains voltage it is 11 kW, at 460 V mains voltage 15 kW. These values refer to a four-pole asynchronous motor at 4 or 8 kHz switching frequency.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
