The NAMUR input stage of the Siemens 6ES7326-1RF00-0AB0 acquires binary signals on the basis of defined current ranges. For signal 0, the range is 0.35 to 1.2 mA; for signal 1, it is 2.1 to 7 mA. This current evaluation is part of the device version of the SM 326 within the SIMATIC-S7 family and distinguishes the module from digital inputs with other signal standards. Eight inputs are available with single-channel wiring; with dual-channel wiring, there are four. The input delay is 1.2 to 3 ms for both signal changes. To supply the sensors, the module has eight outputs with 8.2 V DC. For a specific order with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations, this NAMUR equipment describes the offered order variant. The module is supplied with 24 V DC. This must be distinguished from the sensor supply with its lower output voltage. Without load, the module draws a maximum of 160 mA from the load voltage L+ and a maximum of 90 mA from the 5-V backplane bus. The typical power loss is 4.5 W. Channels, backplane bus and electronics supply are separated from each other by the specified electrical isolation. Diagnostic interrupts and readable diagnostic information are available for evaluating the module status; a red SF indicator signals group errors. Wiring is carried out via a 40-pin front connector. For shielded cables, a maximum length of 200 m is specified, for unshielded cables 100 m. The mechanical design requires 80 mm width, 125 mm height and 120 mm depth. The weight is approx. 482 g; single-channel or dual-channel wiring determines the number of usable input signals.

How many inputs are available with dual-channel wiring?
With dual-channel wiring, four inputs are available; with single-channel wiring, there are eight.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
