Siemens 6SE7014-5UB21 belongs to the SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES product family and is designed as a motor-side Vector Control inverter. Unlike a mains-fed frequency inverter, this compact device receives energy from an existing DC link and generates the regulated motor voltage required by industrial drives. The exact B21 version is specified for 675 to 780 V DC. Its rated output current is 4.5 A, with an assigned type power of 2.2 kW. Siemens assigns 6SE70 devices of this design to the air-cooled compact and booksize units in the MASTERDRIVES Vector Control range. IP20 protection requires operation inside a suitable protected installation environment.
