Product description
Normal duty and heavy duty receive different power assignments on the ABB ACS601-0060-5. The frequency inverter from the ACS 600 series is specified in normal duty with 45 kW motor power and 65 A output current. For heavy duty, on the other hand, 37 kW and 58 A apply. Both pairs of values describe different load conditions of the same device type; the lower heavy-duty power is therefore not a different article variant. In an electric drive, the inverter takes over the power supply of the motor from the three-phase mains. For this version, the mains voltages 380, 400, 415, 440, 460, 480 and 500 V AC are listed. The mains voltage and the associated operating mode together form the framework for classifying the performance data. The current values within a voltage class remain the same. A motor power stated in kilowatts therefore does not replace the comparison of the required motor current. For normal duty, the permissible overload is 1.1 times the rated current for one minute within five minutes. For heavy duty, 1.5 times the respective heavy-duty current is specified for the same period. These time-limited overload values must be distinguished from the continuously applied output currents. In the specific quotation for the ACS601-0060-5 with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations, the assignment to normal or heavy duty remains part of the technical classification. Mechanically, the inverter belongs to frame size R5. Its dimensions are 306 × 715 × 360 mm with a weight of 35 kg. For the IP21/IP22 versions, lower limits of the permissible current and power capacity apply above an installation altitude of 1000 m or at an ambient temperature of more than 40 °C.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?
The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.
A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?
The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.
International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
