Product description

With four normally open main contacts and no normally closed or built-in auxiliary contacts, the ABB AF26Z-40-00-21 is a four-pole block contactor in the AF26Z series. Its ABB product ID is 1SBL236201R2100. Coil code 21 denotes 24 to 60 V AC at 50/60 Hz and 20 to 60 V DC. The main circuit is rated for 690 V and 50/60 Hz. In utilisation category AC-1, the rated operational current is 45 A at 690 V and 40 °C. Conventional free-air thermal current is 55 A. For AC-3, the version has a rated operational current of 22 A at 380/400 V and 60 °C; rated operational power at 400 V is 11 kW. Rated insulation voltage according to IEC 60947-4-1 is 690 V and rated impulse withstand voltage is 6 kV. Main and coil terminals are IP20. Screw terminals are fitted. Mounting is on TH35-7.5 or TH35-15 rails, alternatively with two diagonally positioned M4 screws. Maximum electrical switching frequency in AC-1 is 600 operations per hour and maximum mechanical switching frequency is 3600 operations per hour. The enclosure measures 86 × 45 × 101 mm and weighs 0.4 kg. The full identifier separates this coil and contact arrangement from AF26Z versions with other control-voltage ranges or contact combinations.
