The module measures 104 mm in width, 20 mm in height and 104 mm in depth and has a net weight of 0.125 kg. It is therefore suitable when an existing S900 type N station requires exactly four passive, HART-capable analogue inputs and the installed PROFIBUS DP S900-I/O architecture is to remain in service. These functions help distinguish AI931N from visually similar S900 modules with a different signal direction, input range or no HART capability. ABB AI931N is a HART-capable analogue input module for S900 I/O type N stations in safe, non-hazardous areas. S900 communicates at system level through PROFIBUS DP, while HART frames and cyclic HART variables can travel over the fieldbus. The AI4H module provides 4 passive analogue input channels for process signals acquired by a remote I/O station and transferred to the control system. ABB also documents short-circuit and wire-break detection, Hot Swap, Hot Configuration in Run, redundant power and communication, advanced diagnostics, FDT/DTM support, G3 coating and automatic diagnostics. In 0/4...20-mA measurement circuits, replacement depends on both the terminal assignment and the exact HART and input-range version.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Which payment terms apply?

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
