The Bosch Rexroth MSK070C-0450-NN-S1-UG1-NNNN belongs to the IndraDyn S family of compact synchronous servo motors and is intended for controlled axes requiring high torque density. Its 0450 winding provides 13 Nm continuous torque at standstill at 60 K with 12.3 A. At 100 K, the documented values are 14.5 Nm and 13.7 A; briefly, up to 33 Nm is available at a maximum of 36.9 A. The winding data includes a torque constant of 1.16 Nm/A, a voltage constant of 71.3 V/min⁻¹, resistance of 0.55 Ohm and inductance of 4,000 mH. Six pole pairs and a maximum speed of 6000 min⁻¹ support rapid positioning and acceleration. The NN design uses natural convection. The housing meets IP65, the winding insulation is class F, and the permissible operating ambient range is 0 to 40 °C. Encoder code S1 denotes an optical singleturn Hiperface encoder with 128 signal periods. It provides absolute position information within one motor revolution and, together with the motor data memory, simplifies assignment to the Rexroth controller. The UG1 mechanical version combines a plain shaft with shaft seal, rotatable power connection and an electrically released holding brake. The manual specifies 23 Nm holding torque at 24 V. When replacing the motor, the complete type code, winding, encoder protocol, brake version, connector orientation and shaft geometry must match the installed axis. Controller parameters, power cable and motor feedback cable must also be checked before commissioning. This clearly defined configuration makes the MSK070C-0450-NN-S1-UG1-NNNN a targeted replacement motor for machine tools, packaging systems, robotics and automated handling.
