The Danfoss FC-102P37KT4P55H1 is a VLT HVAC Drive FC 102 frequency converter for ventilation, heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration applications. The P37K version is rated for a typical motor shaft output of 37 kW or 50 hp at 460 V and operates on a three-phase 380 to 480 V AC mains supply. In normal-overload operation, the drive provides 110 percent output current for one minute. Continuous output current is 73 A at 380 to 439 V and 65 A at 440 to 480 V; intermittent ratings are 80.3 and 71.5 A respectively. Continuous apparent output power is 50.6 kVA at 400 V and 51.8 kVA at 460 V. The P55 type code denotes an IP55 or UL Type 12 enclosure with backplate. Danfoss assigns enclosure size C1 to this power and protection-rating version. The integrated H1 RFI filter meets Class A1/B or Category C1. This configuration is therefore prepared for protected industrial use in demanding HVAC systems. Maximum input current is 66 A in the lower and 59 A in the upper voltage range. For thermal planning, the relevant values are an estimated power loss of 739 W at maximum rated load, an efficiency of 0.98 and a unit weight of approximately 45 kg. The converter can be used, for example, to control the speed of suitable fan, pump or compressor motors in existing systems.
