Product description

The Fanuc A57L-0001-0037 is a magnetic sensor system for the oriented positioning of machine-tool spindles. FANUC documentation assigns this version to the magnetic spindle-orientation method: a magnetising element mounted on the spindle is detected by the sensor head, while the associated amplifier supplies the signals to the orientation controller. The version without an additional letter suffix is the standard Type II design and is specified for spindle speeds up to 12,000 min⁻¹. Its standard magnetising element measures 30 × 50 mm and weighs 33 g with a tolerance of ±1.5 g. FANUC states a permitted mounting radius of 40 to 110 mm, an air gap of 1.0 to 2.0 mm between magnetising element and sensor, and an axial centre offset from 0 to +2.0 mm. The amplifier operates from 15 V DC ±5% and consumes no more than 100 mA. Two differential channels, MSA–MSB and LSA–LSB, each deliver one signal per revolution. The documented operating-temperature range is 0 to +50 °C. The assembly includes a sensor head, amplifier, magnetising element and a 500 mm connecting cable. The mounting drawing also identifies two M4 fasteners at the sensor head and two 5.4 mm mounting holes at the amplifier. Exact identification requires the complete A57L-0001-0037 number, the Type II design, the included assemblies and the connector geometry. Suffix versions such as /P, /Q, /R, /S and /T use different magnetising elements and speed limits. The offered system is documented at 120 × 60 × 30 mm and 0.2 kg.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Contact us
What is the Fanuc A57L-0001-0037 used for?

The system detects the position of a magnetising element on the spindle and supplies the FANUC orientation controller with signals for a defined spindle position.

Which speed and mounting clearances apply to the standard version?

For the standard Type II version, FANUC specifies up to 12,000 min⁻¹, a mounting radius of 40 to 110 mm and an air gap of 1.0 to 2.0 mm.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.

Which payment terms apply?

The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.

Can I request individual pricing for several items?

You may request an individual quotation for several items or larger quantities. We then check availability and pricing for the specific requirement; there is no entitlement to a quantity discount. Open the quick enquiry.

Do you also purchase industrial spare parts?

Yes. You can offer us automation and drive components for purchase. Please provide complete type numbers, quantities, condition details and photographs where possible.

After review, we will tell you whether a purchase is possible and on which terms. Learn more about selling industrial stock.
