Leuze since 1963
Helmut, Christof and Adolf Leuze founded Leuze electronic on 1 January 1963 in part of the old weaving mill in Owen. The aim was to manufacture electronic optical sensors, initially for the textile industry in which the family had its roots, and for the printing and paper sector. The headquarters remain in Owen/Teck.
