As an incremental length gauge from the SPECTO series, Heidenhain 383963-03 combines the ST 1278 version with a compact cylindrical body. Its plunger is extended by spring force and runs in a ball-bush guide. Measuring range is 12 mm, and the reference mark is located 5 mm below the upper stop. System accuracy is ±1.0 µm and signal period is 2,000 µm. The TTL output uses tenfold interpolation and supports a maximum scanning frequency of 100 kHz. Electrical supply is 5 V DC ±10 %. A fault-detection signal switches LOW when a disturbance occurs. Electrical connection is radial through a fixed 1.50 m PUR cable with 5.1 mm diameter. The cable terminates in a coated, two-row, 15-pin male D-sub connector with locking screws and integrated electronics. The gauge is mounted through an Ø 8 h6 clamping shank. What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
