Heidenhain 671706-05 identifies an AK ERM 2280 scanning head for modular magnetic angle-measuring systems. This variant operates with 5200 signal periods and an approximately 200 µm graduation period. Its sinusoidal output signal is approximately 1 Vpp, while cutoff frequency is at least 300 kHz. Supply is 5 V DC ±0.5 V with current consumption up to 150 mA without load. Electrical connection uses a 12-pin M23 coupling. IP67 protection and an operating-temperature range from −10 to +60 °C support use in industrial machine axes. For 5200 signal periods, the related TTR-ERM-2200C scale drum has 326.90 mm outside diameter; its mechanically permissible speed is up to 4500 min⁻¹. The drawing gives a length of 50 mm, width of 15 mm and height of 17 mm for the AK ERM 2280. Complete external dimensions are therefore 50 × 15 × 17 mm. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
