The Heidenhain UM115D forms the power stage for a single axis or spindle drive within a modular converter system. Its UM product family separates the supply of the DC link from the individual power modules. The supply unit provides the DC link voltage; the IGBT full bridges are located in the power module. A common DC link busbar connects these assemblies electrically. The CC controller unit transmits its PWM signals via a ribbon cable to the UM115D and thereby specifies the triggering of the power semiconductors. For the technical classification, axis and spindle operation must be distinguished: at a PWM frequency of 5 kHz, the rated axis current is 96 A, while the rated spindle current is 125 A. The maximum current for the same switching frequency is specified as 192 A. Rated current and maximum current describe different operating conditions; the respective operating mode therefore belongs to the assignment of the current values. The internally cooled module is 150 mm wide and fits as a single power assembly into the modular group. For an order of this UM115D version, shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations is arranged for that specific order. The connection technology includes a 20-pin ribbon cable for the PWM signals between the power module and the controller unit as well as a 40-pin ribbon cable for the device bus. Signal routing and the common power supply are thus implemented separately within the setup. The UM115D also includes a connection for the holding brake, diagnostic functions and an electronic ID label. The diagnostic function is part of the module electronics; the electronic ID label supplements the identification of the device. Within the converter setup, the supply unit is on the left, and the power modules follow on the right in descending order of power. The UM115D occupies a single axis or spindle channel there.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?
The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.
A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
