Within the Lenze i700 series, E70ACMSD0054VA1ETR controls servo and synchronous motors in dynamic multi-axis applications. This single-axis module draws its power from a shared DC bus at 565/675 V DC and converts it into a three-phase output voltage of up to 480 V AC. It supplies a continuous output current of 2.5 A and a peak output current of 5 A for short overload cycles, such as acceleration in packaging, assembly or handling equipment. The rated output of 0.75 kW and selectable switching frequencies of 4, 8 or 16 kHz support precise motor control even at lower loads, while the maximum output frequency of 599 Hz covers a broad speed range. Resolver feedback provides a robust position and speed signal for industrial environments. The integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) function meets requirements up to SIL 3 and Performance Level e and can simplify the machine safety architecture where the application permits. EtherCAT connects Lenze E70ACMSD0054VA1ETR to higher-level controllers such as the Lenze c520 and supports sub-millisecond bus cycles for coordinated multi-axis motion. The module is only 50 mm wide. Its push-through mounting places the heat sink behind the control-cabinet backplate so that heat is dissipated outside the cabinet interior.
