Product description

Within dimensions of 52 × 384 × 186 mm, Lenze EMB9351-E combines a brake chopper and braking resistor in a built-in version of the 9350 range. The internal resistor is 47 Ω; separate connections for an external braking resistor instead belong to the 9352 chopper version. The braking module operates over a DC link voltage range of 270 to 775 V DC. Device switches allow 375, 725 or 765 V DC to be selected as the switching threshold. The three thresholds correspond to peak braking powers of 3, 11 and 12 kW respectively, with a peak current of 16 A. Continuous braking power is 0.1 kW for all three settings. The internal resistor stage has a thermal capacity of 50 kWs with an on-time of 4 s and a pause of 500 s. Connections +UG and −UG carry the DC link voltage; T1 and T2 belong to the temperature switches of the 9351 module. A green LED indicates DC link voltage and a yellow LED braking operation. E1 and E2 together with A1 and A2 provide the synchronisation interface for master-slave configurations with several braking units. The mounting position is vertical. Without power derating, the operating temperature range is 0 to 40 °C; up to 50 °C, derating is 2.5 %/°C. IP20 applies with terminal covers fitted. The device weighs 2.6 kg.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Contact us
What braking power and resistance does Lenze EMB9351-E have?

The integrated braking resistor is 47 Ω. Depending on the switching threshold, peak braking power is 3 kW at 375 V, 11 kW at 725 V or 12 kW at 765 V DC; continuous braking power is 0.1 kW.

Which connections and indicators does Lenze EMB9351-E have?

+UG and −UG carry the DC link voltage, while T1 and T2 belong to the temperature switches. E1/E2 and A1/A2 form the synchronisation interface. A green LED indicates the DC link voltage and a yellow LED braking operation.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.

Which payment terms apply?

The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.

Can I request individual pricing for several items?

You may request an individual quotation for several items or larger quantities. We then check availability and pricing for the specific requirement; there is no entitlement to a quantity discount. Open the quick enquiry.

Do you also purchase industrial spare parts?

Yes. You can offer us automation and drive components for purchase. Please provide complete type numbers, quantities, condition details and photographs where possible.

After review, we will tell you whether a purchase is possible and on which terms. Learn more about selling industrial stock.
