The Lenze EVF8203-E belongs to the Global Drive 8200 frequency inverter range and is designed for compact variable-speed drive tasks. The unit uses a single-phase supply from 190 to 260 V AC at 45 to 65 Hz. Alternatively, it can be supplied with direct current from 270 to 360 V DC. For a four-pole three-phase asynchronous motor, the rated motor output is 1.5 kW or 2.0 hp. The output power is 2.7 kVA and the rated output current is 7.0 A. For temporary load peaks, the EVF8203-E provides up to 10.5 A for 60 seconds. This corresponds to 150 % overload capability. At a switching frequency of 9.2 kHz, the documented power loss is 70 W. The motor output frequency can be set from 0 to 50 Hz and can be extended to 240 Hz when required by the application. The absolute resolution of the digital frequency setpoint is 0.05 Hz. The compact unit weighs 2.2 kg and combines its power stage, control system, motor connections and DC-link terminals in a single device. The frequency inverter is suitable as a replacement for the same order number in existing Lenze 8200 applications. Before installation, compare the supply system, motor power, output current, required frequency range, installed mains filter or mains choke and the machine connection assignment. With a mains filter or mains choke, the documentation specifies 12.5 A mains current; without these components it specifies 15.0 A. The documented power derating must be considered for operation above 40 °C. Mounting, wiring, parameter setting and commissioning must be performed only by qualified personnel in accordance with the Lenze operating instructions and applicable safety regulations.

What motor output does the Lenze EVF8203-E support?

Can the EVF8203-E be supplied through a DC link?

Yes. In addition to the single-phase mains supply from 190 to 260 V AC, an alternative direct-current supply from 270 to 360 V DC is supported.

Is there a guarantee?

Please note that the guarantee only applies when the warranty seal is undamaged.
