The power assignment of the Lenze EVF8222-E depends on the line voltage: for a four-pole asynchronous motor, 22 kW apply at 400 V and 30 kW at 480 V. Both values refer to operation with 4 or 8 kHz switching frequency. The frequency converter belongs to the 8220 series within the Lenze 8200 family and forms the power electronics between the three-phase supply and the motor. Its permissible line voltage range extends from 320 to 528 V AC at 45 to 65 Hz. When a line filter or line choke is used, the line current is 42 A. This input value must be distinguished from the motor-side output current, which reaches 47 A at both 4 and 8 kHz. For an order with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations, EVF8222-E designates this device version with the corresponding power and current assignment. A higher switching frequency changes the permissible continuous current: at 12 kHz, 40 A apply on the 400-V supply and 37 A on the 480-V supply. The value for 4 or 8 kHz must therefore not be transferred unchanged to this operating case. For a defined overload cycle at 4 or 8 kHz, a maximum output current of 70.5 A is stated. The cycle comprises one minute at this overcurrent followed by two minutes of base load at 75 % of the rated current. The output frequency is adjustable up to 480 Hz; the absolute frequency resolution is 0.02 Hz. In rated-current operation, a power loss of 640 W occurs. Above 40 °C up to below 50 °C ambient temperature, the power derating is 2.5 % per kelvin.
The item supplied will have the stated manufacturer or type number and the stated condition category. Serial number, manufacturing date, labels, colour, packaging and normal signs of use or storage may differ. Unless expressly confirmed, technical information is provided to identify the device type. The complete manufacturer or type number is decisive.

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.
A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.
International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.
