Product description
For the control of three-phase drives, Schneider Electric combines two different load ratings in the ATV930D15N4: 15 kW in normal duty operation and 11 kW in heavy duty operation. The frequency inverter belongs to the Altivar Process ATV900 family and works between the three-phase supply network and the motor. Its mains supply is 380 to 480 V AC and 50 to 60 Hz; the output frequency ranges from 0.1 to 599 Hz. Normal duty and heavy duty each have their own current values. At 4 kHz switching frequency, the continuous output current is 31.7 A and 23.5 A respectively. For 60 seconds, 38 A are specified in normal duty and 35.3 A in heavy duty. This assignment separates continuous operation and time-limited overload and is decisive when considering the respective motor power. A braking unit is integrated. The EMC filter is also part of the version: it is specified for category C2 at up to 50 m and category C3 at up to 150 m according to EN/IEC 61800-3. The specific order of the ATV930D15N4 with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations refers to this version with braking unit and IP21 housing. EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and Modbus serial connect the drive to the automation. On the control side, analogue and digital inputs and outputs as well as relay connections are available; a sink/source switch adapts the logic inputs to the output technology of the controller. STO is implemented as a safety function with SIL 3. Cooling is by forced convection. Mounting provides for a vertical arrangement with a maximum deviation of ten degrees, so that the cooling air flow can run from bottom to top.

Which power values apply to normal duty and heavy duty?
Normal duty is rated at 15 kW and 31.7 A at 4 kHz. Heavy duty has 11 kW and 23.5 A at 4 kHz.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?
The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.
A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.
