Two load profiles determine the rating of the Schneider Electric ATV930U55N4: 5.5 kW motor power in Normal Duty operation and 4 kW in Heavy Duty operation. The frequency inverter belongs to the Altivar Process ATV900 series and the ATV930 device family. It is intended to control asynchronous and synchronous motors. It is supplied three-phase with 380 to 480 V AC at a mains frequency of 50 to 60 Hz. A tolerance of five percent applies to the mains frequency. The output frequency is specified as 0.1 to 599 Hz. At a switching frequency of 4 kHz, the continuous output current is 12.7 A under Normal Duty and 9.3 A under Heavy Duty. For 60 seconds in each case, the associated overload currents are 15.2 A and 14 A. The current and power data thus remain assigned to the selected load profile in each case. For an order with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations, ATV930U55N4 designates the version with integrated braking chopper and protection class IP21. The inverter also includes an integrated EMC filter. Its classification according to EN/IEC 61800-3 covers category C2 with up to 50 m motor cable and category C3 with up to 150 m motor cable. The STO safety function, Safe Torque Off, is rated SIL 3. Cooling works by forced convection. For this, the device is mounted vertically with a permissible deviation of ten degrees. A clearance of at least 100 mm is provided above and below for air circulation. The housing is 144 mm wide, 350 mm high and 206 mm deep. The device weight is 4.7 kg.
The item supplied will have the stated manufacturer or type number and the stated condition category. Serial number, manufacturing date, labels, colour, packaging and normal signs of use or storage may differ. Unless expressly confirmed, technical information is provided to identify the device type. The complete manufacturer or type number is decisive.
