Siemens 1FK6040-6AK71-1EG0 is a permanent-magnet synchronous servo motor from the 1FK6 series. The six-pole version provides 1.6 Nm standstill torque, a rated speed of 6,000 min⁻¹ and a maximum speed of 8,500 min⁻¹. Documented electrical values are 1.75 A rated current and 9.0 A maximum current. The motor uses natural cooling. IM B5 construction is specified for V1 and V3 mounting positions; protection is IP64. The order code identifies an EnDat absolute encoder with 2,048 S/R, a smooth shaft with tolerance grade N and a version without holding brake. Power and signal connections use rotatable plug connectors. The official drawing assigns the 1FK6040 a shaft height of 48 mm, a square outside flange of 120 mm and a 40 mm smooth shaft extension. Shaft diameter is 19 mm. For the optical encoder version, the dimension table lists a motor length k of 203.5 mm. The complete external envelope includes flange, connector assembly and shaft extension. The 120-millimetre flange defines maximum width. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
