Siemens 1FK7063-5AF71-1GG5 belongs to the compact SIMOTICS S 1FK7 series. The permanent-magnet synchronous servo motor has eight poles and delivers 7.3 Nm rated torque at 3000 min⁻¹. Rated current is 5.6 A. At 100 K Siemens documents 11.0 Nm standstill torque and 8.0 A standstill current; at 60 K the values are 9.1 Nm and 6.6 A. Optimum operating power is 2.3 kW. The specific GG5 version has no holding brake and uses a smooth shaft. Feedback is provided by an AM32S/R multiturn absolute encoder with 32 signal periods, 4096 revolutions and an EnDat interface. Power and signal connectors rotate through 270°. Natural cooling, IM B5 construction with IM V1 and IM V3 mounting positions, and IP65 protection with IP67 at the drive-end flange define the mechanical version. Shaft height is 63 mm and connector size is M23. The axial outside length is 283.3 mm including the 50 mm shaft. The square flange contour measures 126 mm. With the connectors in the illustrated upper position, the contour extends 105 mm above the axis and 63 mm below it, producing an overall height of 168 mm.
