For controlled machine axes, the Siemens 1FT7064-5AF71-1KG2 provides a rated speed of 3,000 min⁻¹ and a rated torque of 7.6 Nm. The compact permanent-magnet synchronous servomotor is part of the SIMOTICS S 1FT7 series and reaches 2.4 kW at its optimum operating point. Its standstill torque is 9.0 Nm at 100 K, while the specified mechanical limit is 9,000 min⁻¹. This particular version uses natural cooling and an IM B5 mounting arrangement with conventional flange geometry. Position feedback is supplied by an AS24DQI 24-bit absolute singleturn encoder with DRIVE-CLiQ interface. The encoder signal uses an M17 circular connector. Does this 1FT7064 version include a holding brake?
No. The complete order number 1FT7064-5AF71-1KG2 identifies a version with a plain shaft and without a holding brake.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
