Within the SIMATIC-S7-1500 series, Siemens 6ES7512-1CK00-0AB0 combines a CPU 1512C-1 PN with integrated signal and technology functions. The work memory comprises 250 KB for the program and 1 MB for data. The compact CPU directly provides 32 digital inputs and 32 digital outputs as well as five analogue inputs and two analogue outputs. Six high-speed counters are complemented by four high-speed outputs for PTO, PWM or frequency output. The first communication interface operates as PROFINET IRT with an integrated 2-port switch. Typical processing times are 48 ns for bit operations and 58 ns for word operations. The CPU is supplied with 24 V DC; the permissible range extends from 19.2 to 28.8 V DC. Typical power loss is 15.2 W. A SIMATIC Memory Card is required as plug-in load memory, with a stated capacity of up to 32 GB. The integrated display diagonal measures 3.45 cm. The device has one memory-card slot and uses push-in front connectors within the module design.
