For mixed electrical and optical Industrial Ethernet segments, the Siemens SCALANCE X204-2LD 6GK5204-2BC10-2AA3 is designed as a managed Layer 2 switch module. Four RJ45 ports transmit at 10 or 100 Mbit/s. Two ST/BFOC connections use Singlemode-Lichtwellenleiter at 100 Mbit/s. This combines copper-based devices and more distant optical network segments in the same module. As a PROFINET-IO-Device, the switch is used as a managed network component in automation networks. Network management, an integrated Redundanz-Manager, and the optional C-PLUG complement configuration and the transfer of device settings. LED indicators and a signaling contact with Set-Taster are available for status monitoring. The power supply has a redundant design. At 24 V DC, current consumption is 265 mA. The device has protection class IP30 and an operating temperature range of −40 to +60 °C. This covers typical environmental conditions in industrial control cabinets. The compact enclosure measures 60 × 125 × 124 mm and weighs 780 g. Installation is possible on a 35-mm-Hutschiene, an S7-300-Profilschiene, or a wall. The combination of four Fast-Ethernet-RJ45-Ports, two optical Singlemode-Ports, and integrated management and redundancy functions places the X204-2LD in the SCALANCE-X-200-Familie for mixed electrical and optical network topologies. The optical ports use BFOC sockets for Singlemode-Fasern, while the four electrical ports provide RJ45 connections. The optional C-PLUG is located in the rear slot. The two redundant power inputs and the separate signaling contact are available for operation. What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
