Between copper-based devices and optical multimode links, the managed Siemens 6GK5204-2BB10-2AA3 Industrial Ethernet switch provides segment connections within the SCALANCE-X-200 family. Four RJ45 ports operate at 10 or 100 Mbit/s, while two ST/BFOC connections carry 100BaseFX over multimode fibre. This port combination distinguishes the X204-2 version from copper-only variants, single-mode devices and switches with a different number of ports. The four electrical ports use MDI-X assignment and support half- and full-duplex operation. Both fibre interfaces operate in full duplex. The power supply is rated at 24 V DC and can be connected redundantly. The permissible range is 19.2 to 28.8 V DC, or 18.5 to 30.2 V DC including total ripple. At nominal voltage, maximum current consumption is 0.265 A and power loss is 6.36 W. Supply and signalling contact use separate terminal blocks; the signalling contact is rated for 24 V DC and a maximum of 0.1 A. LED diagnostics, a set button, PROFINET IO device functionality, network management and the integrated redundancy manager form part of the functional configuration. A C-PLUG can be used as removable media. The electrical design includes a 600-mA-/60-V input fuse. For mechanical comparison, the compact enclosure measures 60 × 125 × 124 mm and has a net weight of 0.78 kg. Mounting is provided for a 35-mm DIN rail, an S7-300 mounting rail or a wall; mounting on an S7-1500 rail is not specified. IP30 and an operating temperature range from −40 to +60 °C define the environmental limits. Storage is permitted from −40 to +70 °C; relative humidity is 95 percent at 25 °C without condensation. What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
