The Siemens CP 443-1 Advanced 6GK7443-1GX20-0XE0 receives its 5-V-DC supply through the S7-400 backplane bus. Typical current consumption is 1.8 A and power loss is 7.25 W. Designed as a single-width compact module, the communication processor connects a SIMATIC S7-400-CPU to Industrial Ethernet. Its 25 × 290 × 210 mm format and net weight of 0.7 kg are particularly relevant when checking the available rack space. Two separate Ethernet interfaces are available on the front. One RJ45 socket transmits at 10, 100 or 1.000 Mbit/s. The second interface consists of four switched RJ45 ports for 10 or 100 Mbit/s. This configuration combines a Gigabit connection and an integrated PROFINET switch in one module. The C-PLUG slot accommodates the specified removable media. In PROFINET operation, the processor functions as an IO controller with RT and IRT. It manages up to 128 PROFINET IO devices in total, including up to 32 IRT devices; four external PROFINET IO lines are specified per rack. A maximum of 4 KiB of user data is available for each input and output area. Open communication includes TCP/IP, ISO and UDP. Up to 64 connections are possible through SEND/RECEIVE blocks, while S7 communication supports up to 128 connections. The flash file area provides 30 MiB and the RAM area 16 MiB. Additional functions include SNMP v1, DCP, LLDP, NTP, web diagnostics, an FTP client and an FTP server. Ring redundancy and MRP are provided. The permissible operating temperature range is 0 to 60 °C, and the degree of protection is IP20. What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
