Product description
For time-limited braking operations, the Siemens 6SE7013-2ES87-2DC0 works with a resistance value of 200 Ω. The braking resistor belongs to the SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES series and absorbs the electrical energy generated during braking as heat. The load duration and the subsequent cooling determine the thermal sequence. The power ratings therefore explicitly distinguish between peak power, short-time load and continuous operation. At 3.0 kW, the peak power P3 is above the power P20 of 2.0 kW, which refers to a load of 20 seconds. The continuous power is 150 W and describes a different operating case than these short braking pulses. For an order of this 200-Ω braking resistor with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations, the complete identifier 6SE7013-2ES87-2DC0 remains the reference point. The electrical design includes a resistance tolerance of ±5 % at 20 °C and an operating voltage below 850 V DC. The insulation resistance is at least 100 MΩ. The thermal time constant is approximately 800 seconds. After a corresponding pulse load, the resistor must cool down to ambient temperature again before a renewed load with P3 or P20; for this, the thermal sequence describes a pause of approximately four time constants. A temperature switch with a rated switching temperature of 140 °C and a tolerance of ±5 K is located on the assembly. Its function must be distinguished from the time limitation of the braking load: the housing temperature follows the internal heating with a delay, so that the switch does not detect an excessively long load with P3 or P20 in time. A maximum operating current of 9 A at AC voltage applies to the temperature switch.

How do P20 and continuous power differ?
P20 is 2.0 kW for 20 seconds. The continuous power is 150 W.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?
The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.
A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
