Designed as a compact machinery drive, the ABB ACS180-04S-045A-4 combines the essential control, communication and safety functions of the ACS180 series. This exact R4 version operates on a three-phase 380 to 480 V AC supply and is rated for 22 kW IEC power at 45 A output current. Scalar control and sensorless vector control are available for motor operation. Safe Torque Off is integrated into the standard 04S version. Control and reference signals are handled through two configurable analog inputs and four digital inputs. An analog output, a transistor output and a relay output are also provided. The interfaces comprise EIA-485 with Modbus RTU and an RJ45 connection. The switching frequency can be set from 1.5 to 12 kHz, with 4 kHz as the standard value. Connections for the brake chopper, braking resistor and DC link are included. At rated operation, input current is 46.9 A or 40 A with a line choke. The output briefly reaches 68.4 A for 2 s during starting. Typical power loss is 574.5 W, with 150 m³/h cooling airflow at 69 dB(A). The IP20 enclosure measures 260 mm wide, 240 mm high and 178.6 mm deep. Frame size R4 weighs 5.3 kg and has M5 mounting holes for vertical installation.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.
