The Beckhoff Automation EL6021 provides one serial communication channel with an RS422 or RS485 interface in an EtherCAT terminal system. TxD and RxD operate in either full- or half-duplex mode; the adjustable transmission rate ranges from 2400 to 115.200 Baud. The default setting uses 9600 Baud, eight data bits, no parity and one stop bit. Data transmission uses a differential signal with a line impedance of 120 Ω. The specified twisted-pair cable length is approximately 1000 m. Electrical isolation of 500 V separates the E-bus from the signal voltage. The receive buffer holds 864 Byte and the transmit buffer 128 Byte. No separate address setting is present; configuration takes place through the coupler or controller. Power is supplied through the E-bus, with typical current consumption of 170 mA. The compact polycarbonate housing locks onto a 35-mm DIN rail according to EN 60715 and permits any mounting position. Solid and stranded conductors from 0.08 to 2.5 mm² and ferrules from 0.14 to 1.5 mm² use spring actuation. The specified operating temperature range is −25 to +60 °C, and the protection rating is IP20. Dimensions of 12 × 100 × 68 mm and a weight of approximately 55 g place the EL6021 in the narrow EL-12 housing format.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.
