Bosch Rexroth DDS02.2-W200-BE30-01-FW is the power and control module for a modular Indramat DIAX03 servo axis. The DDS02.2-W200 base unit is supplied from a 300-V-DC link and belongs to the 200-A current class. The configuration manual specifies a maximum peak current of 200 A with continuous current of 65 A, as well as an operating point with 90 A peak current and 90 A maximum continuous current. This frame is therefore suitable for high-power axes when the motor, supply and load cycle remain within the documented DDS design. The W in the type code identifies air cooling inside the control cabinet. Unlike versions with a rear-mounted heat sink, all power loss remains inside the cabinet. Existing systems therefore require adequate airflow and suitable cabinet cooling. This IP20 unit weighs approximately 7.5 kg and requires around 105 × 390 × 325 mm of installation space. Rated operation is specified from 0 to 45 °C and at installation altitudes up to 1,000 m; operation up to 55 °C requires power derating. Internal electronics draw 500 mA from the +24-V rail and 150 mA from each of the ±15-V rails. The B/E version combines digital servo and resolver feedback with a SERCOS command interface. BE30-01 identifies the specific functional variant, while FW refers to separately assigned firmware. These identifiers determine whether the controller, option modules and existing axis configuration are compatible. A direct replacement therefore requires the same complete type code, corresponding module configuration, feedback system, motor assignment, communication configuration and firmware. Other DDS02.2-W200 variants are not automatically functionally equivalent even when they use the same frame size.
