Two lines of 20 characters each form the operator display of the Control Techniques EMC-OIT-3165-A. The Operator Interface Terminal belongs to the OIT-3165 range and combines a backlit LCD with a membrane keypad. The display uses a 5 × 7 dot matrix; each character is 4.8 mm high. A total of 24 programmable keys are arranged in 3 rows. Replaceable slide-in legends provide customized key labels, while an internal audio transducer confirms key operation. The viewing angle is approximately 90 degrees. The supply voltage ranges from 12 to 30 V DC. Typical power consumption is 2.5 W. The serial interface is configurable as RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485. Configurable transmission rates range from 300 to 19.200 baud. The terminal contains 128K × 8 Flash PROM for firmware, protocol and configuration data; this memory requires no battery. The specified membrane-key lifespan is 3 million operations. Wiring uses an external power plug and shielded RJ-45 communication connectors. The aluminum enclosure uses panel mounting. Which supply and serial configurations are specified for the OIT-3165?
The supply range is 12–30 V DC. The serial interface is configurable as RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 at rates up to 19.200 baud.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.
