A measuring range of 12 mm defines the MT-12 version of the Heidenhain 243602-06 within the HEIDENHAIN-METRO series. Its model designation is MT 12. The incremental length gauge records linear position changes through a DIADUR grating on glass. Its system accuracy is ±0.5 µm and the grating period is 10 µm. A reference mark is located approximately 5 mm before the upper stop. An integral spring actuates the plunger, which is extended at rest. Depending on the operating orientation, the gauging force during retraction and extension lies within defined ranges: vertically downward between 0.6 N and 0.85 N, vertically upward between 0.28 N and 0.6 N, and horizontally between 0.48 N and 0.73 N. The mechanically permissible radial force is limited to 0.2 N. The MT 12 provides sinusoidal current signals through an 11 µAPP interface. Power is supplied at 5 V DC ±0.25 V with current consumption below 70 mA. A 1.5 m PUR cable leads to a 9-pin M23 connector. With the plunger coupled, the defined measuring velocity reaches up to 60 m/min and depends on the subsequent electronics. The cylindrical gauge mounts by means of an 8h6 clamping shank. Protection rating IP50 according to EN 60529 applies to this MT-12 version. The operating temperature range extends from 10 °C to 50 °C at a reference temperature of 20 °C; storage temperatures are −30 °C to 70 °C. The linear product dimension corresponds to the documented measuring range of 12 mm. Net weight without cable is 0.12 kg. How are the connection and power supply configured?
A 1.5-m PUR cable leads to a 9-pin M23 connector. The supply is 5 V DC ±0.25 V at less than 70 mA.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
