Two axes are combined in the Heidenhain UM121B within one power module. The assembly belongs to the modular HEIDENHAIN inverter system and contains the IGBT power stages for controlled motor outputs. Its designation consists of UM for inverter module, size identifier 121 and version identifier B. The ID-number range is stated as 336 949-xx. Available rated current depends on the selected PWM frequency. At 3333 Hz, 18.4 A per axis is specified; the values are 16.9 A at 4000 Hz and 15.0 A at 5000 Hz. At higher switching frequencies, the rating is 12.8 A at 6666 Hz, 10.9 A at 8000 Hz and 9.0 A at 10000 Hz. Maximum current is 30.0 A up to 5000 Hz; it is 25.6 A at 6666 Hz, 21.8 A at 8000 Hz and 18.0 A at 10000 Hz. Power loss for two-axis operation is stated at approximately 240 W. The housing has protection rating IP20. Motor outputs are located at connections X81 and X82; the official connector supplement assigns the three-pin connector version and defined conductor cross-sections. The two axis channels use separate connections at the module. A product-specific reference for version 336 949-01 lists housing dimensions of 480 × 100 × 300 mm. The technical manual gives a weight of approximately 5.5 kg. In addition to UM121B, the complete ID number and actual connector version are decisive for variant identification because adjacent UM121, UM121D and UM121BD modules are separate versions.

How are the motor axes connected?
The two motor outputs are assigned to power connections X81 and X82.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
