Serially transmitted control signals are the central task of the Lenze E82ZAFFC001. The compact AS-i/S function module is part of the communication equipment for the 8200 drive series and is configured as coated variant 001. It operates according to AS-i specification 3.0 as a single slave in a tree topology. The bus can include up to 31 nodes; transmission runs at 167 kbit/s. With 31 nodes, the cycle time is 5 ms and the possible bus cable length is a maximum of 100 m. The four AS-i data bits D0 through D3 are assigned to digital controller inputs E1 through E4. In the opposite direction, the module maps the digital controller output and the drive's mains state. Two additional digital inputs, DI2 and DI3, return further binary signals. A green LED shows the state of bus communication, while a red LED indicates a communication fault. Connections are provided for AS-i, the two digital inputs and controller inhibit. Power is supplied from the AS-i bus. The specified minimum voltage is 18.5 V DC and maximum current consumption is 140 mA. The digital inputs detect LOW from 0 to 3 V DC and HIGH from 12 to 30 V DC. Climate class 3K3 applies during operation; pollution degree 2 follows IEC/EN 61800-5-1. The storage range is -25 to +60 °C. The IP20 enclosure measures 50 × 20 × 65 mm and weighs 0.06 kg.

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
