Product description

Lenze EVF8201-E is a frequency inverter from the 8200 series. The opened Lenze manual lists order number EVF8201-E in the table for types 8201 to 8204 and assigns it a motor power rating of 0.37 kW or 0.5 hp. The inverter operates from a single-phase mains supply. Its documented mains voltage range is 190 to 260 V AC at 45 to 65 Hz. The technical table also specifies an alternative DC supply range of 270 to 360 V DC. For type 8201, mains current is 4.2 A with a mains filter or mains choke and 5.0 A without these components. Output power is rated at 1.0 kVA, and rated output current is 2.6 A. A maximum output current of 3.9 A is documented for 60 seconds. Motor voltage extends from 0 V to three times the mains voltage; the associated frequency range starts at 0 Hz and extends to 240 Hz when required. The manual states a power loss of 30 W at rated current. Absolute field-frequency resolution is 0.05 Hz. Digital setpoint selection is likewise specified with an accuracy of 0.05 Hz. A technical product page referring exactly to EVF8201-E gives mounting dimensions of 64 x 210 x 158 mm. The Lenze manual lists a weight of 1.0 kg for type 8201. The exact device identity, electrical input range, principal output data, overload interval and mechanical data are therefore documented for this variant. All data refers to EVF8201-E without the differing V002 suffix.

What power and output current does Lenze EVF8201-E provide?

The Lenze manual specifies 0.37 kW motor power, 2.6 A rated output current and 3.9 A maximum output current for 60 seconds.

Which mains voltage range is documented for EVF8201-E?

Single-phase mains operation is specified for 190 to 260 V AC at 45 to 65 Hz; the manual alternatively states 270 to 360 V DC.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
