Product description

Mitsubishi Electric groups 16 relay outputs in the compact MELSEC-F FX2N-16EYR-ES-UL expansion block. The module occupies output points only and receives its internal supply from the connected PLC base or extension unit. A vertically arranged terminal block with M3 screws provides the field wiring connections. The relay contacts switch external loads at up to 30 V DC or 240 V AC. For a resistive load, the limit is 2 A per output. The total current is limited to 8 A for either four or eight outputs per common. Inductive loads are rated up to 80 VA, while the stated reference value for the minimum load is 5 V DC and 2 mA. Switching from OFF to ON and from ON to OFF takes approximately 10 ms in each direction. Mechanical isolation separates the output circuits. A front LED lights when the corresponding relay coil is energised. The block draws 40 mA from the internal 5 V DC supply. 16 output indicators are arranged on the front, with one LED assigned to each relay channel. Current consumption, load limits, response times and terminal design form the electrical data of this variant. The product designation is MELSEC-F FX2N. Its enclosure is 40 mm wide, 90 mm high and 87 mm deep, so all three device axes are stated separately. Variant-specific net weight is approximately 0.3 kg. The complete FX2N model code identifies the relay-output version. The FX2N series, sixteen relay outputs and full ES-UL suffix together define the documented device identity. Delivery time is confirmed on request.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Contact us
Which outputs does the Mitsubishi Electric FX2N-16EYR-ES-UL provide?

The block provides 16 relay outputs. The limit for a resistive load is 2 A per output and 8 A per common.

What are the module's dimensions and net weight?

The module measures 40 × 90 × 87 mm in width, height and depth. Net weight is approximately 0.3 kg.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.

Which payment terms apply?

The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.

Can I request individual pricing for several items?

You may request an individual quotation for several items or larger quantities. We then check availability and pricing for the specific requirement; there is no entitlement to a quantity discount. Open the quick enquiry.

Do you also purchase industrial spare parts?
