As a fieldbus card, the CFN21A extends the communication equipment of the MOVIDRIVE technology application inverters MDX90 and MDX91 with PROFINET. SEW-Eurodrive assigns the order number 28231694 to this version. The card forms the connection between the application inverter and higher-level automation, configuration or visualisation systems. Its Ethernet connection also enables direct access with the MOVISUITE engineering software for commissioning, diagnostics and parameterisation. For PROFINET data exchange, the interface supports both RT and IRT, i.e. Isochronous Realtime. Conformance Class C and Netload Class 3 characterise the communication properties of the card. The connection is made via RJ45, and the transmission rate is 100 Mbaud in full-duplex mode. An integrated Ethernet switch works according to the cut-through method; its latency is 5.5 µs. These specifications describe the network path of the fieldbus card and must be distinguished from the performance data of the inverter. The network configuration includes topology detection via LLDP as well as automatic addressing via LLDP and DCP. Media redundancy is supported via MRP. The shared device function is also part of the functional scope. For the specific order with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations, CFN21A designates the PROFINET card with this network functionality and the order number 28231694. An integrated web server provides diagnostic values via a standard browser; access is via the IP address of the device. In addition to the cyclic PROFINET data exchange, this provides access paths for engineering and diagnostics. The power consumption of the fieldbus card is 2 W. A GSDML device description file belongs to the interface for integration into the configuration. Which PROFINET communication does the CFN21A support?
The fieldbus card supports RT and IRT as well as Conformance Class C and Netload Class 3.
How is engineering access provided?
Via Ethernet with MOVISUITE for commissioning, diagnostics and parameterisation. The integrated web server provides diagnostic values in the browser.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?
The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.
A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?
The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.
International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
