Siemens 1FK7083-5AF71-1GV5-Z combines a permanent-magnet synchronous servo motor from the SIMOTICS S family with an F402 parallel-shaft gearbox. The naturally cooled compact motor operates at a rated speed of 3,000 min⁻¹ and provides 10.5 Nm rated torque at 100 K with 7.4 A. The specified stall torque is 16.0 Nm at 100 K; up to 50.0 Nm and 37.0 A are available for short periods. Eight poles, a KTY84 temperature sensor and rotatable power and signal connectors form the basic electrical configuration. Position feedback is provided by an absolute AM32S/R encoder with 32 signal periods, 4,096 multiturn revolutions and an EnDat interface. The permanent-magnet holding brake uses a 24 V DC supply and provides 22.0 Nm holding torque. IM B5 mounting design and IP65 protection with IP67 at the drive-end flange are documented mechanically. The F402 gearbox uses a ratio of i=35. This produces an output speed of 86 min⁻¹, a rated output torque of 357 Nm and 3.20 kW power at S3-60 %. Maximum acceleration torque is 700 Nm. The unit therefore suits conveyor, lifting and positioning axes that require high output torque at low output speed. The -Z suffix remains part of the complete type designation. Specific Z options are not guaranteed by the shop and are confirmed against the actually available unit before an order is placed. A particular optional shaft, gearbox or connector arrangement is therefore not promised. Load capacity, permissible loads and available mounting surfaces must also be checked carefully together.
