The Siemens 1FT5066-0AC71-2-Z belongs to the 1FT5 family of permanent-magnet three-phase servo motors for precise feed and machine axes. Siemens documents this motor family for operation with SIMODRIVE 611 Analog. Hall sensors detect rotor commutation for evaluation by the matching drive system. The motor is therefore a targeted replacement for established machine tools and automation systems whose electrical and mechanical design is already configured for 1FT5. For the AC71 winding variant, the Siemens table specifies a rated speed of 2,000 min⁻¹, rated torque of 6.7 Nm, rated current of 4.4 A and standstill torque of 8.0 Nm at 100 K.
