The Siemens 6ES5 466-3LA11 is an isolated analog input module from the SIMATIC S5 466 product series. The Siemens manual assigns the module to the S5-115U automation system and describes a selectable channel configuration: 16 single-ended channels or eight differential inputs, grouped in sets of four or two channels respectively. The module therefore acquires current and voltage signals across several industrial measurement ranges. The documented current ranges are 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA and ±20 mA. Voltage ranges extend from 0 to 1.25 V through 0 to 10 V and from ±1.25 V through ±10 V. Digital representation can be selected as 12-bit two's complement, 11 bits plus sign or a 12-bit binary value. Siemens specifies instantaneous value decoding as the measurement principle, while conversion uses successive approximation. The typical conversion time is 25 µs per channel and the encoding time is 250 µs per measured value. A maximum cyclic scan time of 2 ms is specified for eight measured values. Input resistance is 10 MΩ for voltage measurement and 125 Ω for current measurement. Shielded signal cables may be up to 200 m long. The module reports overflow and internal faults through status bits. Common-mode rejection is at least 70 dB. It uses an internal 5 V ±5 % supply and requires no external supply. Typical internal current consumption is 0.7 A and power dissipation is 3.5 W. Connection is through a 43-pin front connector. What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
