Word processing, closed-loop control calculations and arithmetic tasks form the focus of the Siemens 6ES5922-3UA11. This central processing module carries the designation CPU 922 and is also called the R processor. It belongs to the SIMATIC-S5 system for the central controllers S5-135U and S5-155U. In addition to word data, the CPU also processes binary signals. Programming is done in STEP 5. Three processing levels are available for executing the user program: cyclic processing, time-controlled processing with one time base and processing via hardware interrupts. This means that the different triggers of program processing are already provided for at the CPU level. The CPU 922 can work in single-processor operation or as part of a multiprocessor system. The central controller accommodates up to four CPUs. As a plug-in printed circuit board in double Eurocard format, the module is inserted into the corresponding slot of the central controller. Its connection to the S5 bus is made via two backplane connectors. The front panel occupies a width of one and one third standard slots; for an order with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations, this CPU-922 design is assigned to the complete designation 6ES5922-3UA11. The 15-pin interface for the programming device is located on the front. The receptacle for the user memory submodule is also located there. A mode selector switch selects RUN or STOP. A separate momentary-contact switch, also on the front, has the positions RESET and OVERALL RESET. Green RUN and red STOP indicators show the operating state. The red fault indicators are labeled QVZ, ADF, ZYK and BASP. For the CPU to start, the backup battery of the system must be inserted and in working order.

Which program processing does the CPU 922 offer?
The CPU 922 offers cyclic, time-controlled and hardware-interrupt-controlled processing. One time base is available for time-controlled processing; the programming language is STEP 5.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
