Siemens 6ES7510-1SK03-0AB0 is a fail-safe CPU 1510SP F-1 PN for the SIMATIC ET-200SP distributed I/O system. The compact central processing unit combines standard and safety control with PROFINET communication and is suitable for machines, production cells and systems where an installed CPU with this exact MLFB must be replaced or an existing ET-200SP station expanded. Siemens specifies 300 KB of integrated work memory for the program and 1 MB for data. A SIMATIC Memory Card is required; cards up to 32 GB are supported as plug-in load memory. The integrated PROFINET IRT interface provides three ports, two of them through a suitable BusAdapter. The CPU can operate as a PROFINET IO Controller and IO Device and supports PROFINET IRT, MRP/MRPD, PROFIsafe, TCP/IP, Modbus TCP and OPC UA. For safety applications, Siemens specifies SIL 3 according to IEC 61508 and Performance Level e according to ISO 13849-1. The unit is supplied with 24 V DC within a permissible range of 19.2 to 28.8 V; rated current consumption is 0.51 A and typical power loss is 6.5 W. Measuring 100 × 117 × 75 mm and weighing approximately 265 g, the CPU is designed for compact ET 200SP stations. Engineering of firmware V3.0 is supported from TIA Portal V18.
