The SCALANCE XB216 combines sixteen electrical network connections in a compact housing. The RJ45 ports of the Siemens 6GK5216-0BA00-2AB2 transmit data at 10 or 100 Mbit/s. As a managed Layer-2 switch, the device provides functions for configuration, diagnostics and the organisation of industrial Ethernet networks. A command line interface and web-based management are available for operation. In addition, there is a separate console port in RJ11 design. PROFINET IO is part of the functional scope, as is EtherNet/IP; the PROFINET conformance class is B. Diagnostics support port diagnostics, error statistics and SysLog. Port mirroring allows data traffic to be mirrored for network analysis. For redundant network structures, the switch supports MRP and HRP, among others, as well as the spanning tree methods STP and RSTP. These functions are part of the specific XB216 version, also for an order with shipping from Germany to the United States and other international destinations. The power supply is nominally 24 V DC. A range of 19.2 to 28.8 V is permissible, and the maximum current consumption is 0.28 A. A six-pole terminal block is provided for connecting the redundant power supply. Network connections, local console and supply connection are thus designed as different connection groups. The housing is made of polycarbonate PC-GF10 and has protection class IP20. It is mounted on a 35-mm DIN rail. An ambient temperature of 0 to 60 °C is specified for operation; the permissible storage temperature ranges from −40 to +70 °C. The complete device measures 80 mm in width, 117 mm in height and 109 mm in depth. The net weight is 0.4 kg.

How many network ports does the SCALANCE XB216 have?
The model has 16 RJ45 network ports with 10/100 Mbit/s as well as a separate RJ11 console port.
What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?
For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.
In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.
Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?
The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.
A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.
Which payment terms apply?

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.
Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?
No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect.
