Siemens 6GK7 443-5FX02-0XE0 is the CP 443-5 Basic communication processor for SIMATIC-S7-400 systems. It connects the S7-400 station to PROFIBUS and provides PG/OP communication, S7 communication, open communication through SEND/RECEIVE and PROFIBUS FMS. This makes it relevant to existing systems that must retain classic fieldbus communication, operator and programming access, or data exchange between controllers. The PROFIBUS interface supports transmission rates from 9.6 kbit/s to 12 Mbit/s and uses a 9-pin Sub-D socket with RS-485.
