Siemens MXG461.25-8.0 is a modulating control valve from the Acvatix range with a directly integrated magnetic actuator. The threaded version is designed for mixing or straight-through applications in closed heating and cooling circuits and can also be used with suitable water/glycol mixtures. With nominal size DN 25, pressure rating PN 16 and a Kvs value of 8 m³/h, the valve covers typical tasks in building services and industrial media control. The magnetic actuator accepts selectable DC 0–10 V, DC 2–10 V or 4–20 mA control signals and also provides a position feedback signal. This allows the valve position to be monitored by higher-level control systems. The unit is supplied with 24 V AC; its electronics include a two-colour LED for operating, calibration and fault indications. Mechanical manual control provides AUTO, MANUAL and OFF positions. The assembly is factory matched as a valve-and-actuator unit and should therefore be replaced as a complete unit. For spare-part identification, compare the complete MXG461.25-8.0 designation, nominal size, Kvs value, connection arrangement and existing signal type together. Adjacent MXG461 variants differ in connection size and flow capacity and are not generally interchangeable. The valve is documented for water and water/glycol mixtures containing up to 50 percent glycol. The mounting position must not place the actuator below horizontal. The module is therefore suitable for repair, retrofit and maintenance stock for Acvatix control loops that require precise movement and clear position feedback.
