Product description

The ABB DSQC 651 with complete article number 3HAC025784-001/00 is a combined analog/digital I/O unit for the IRC5 robot controller environment. ABB describes the device as a distributed DeviceNet I/O module that transfers digital and analog signals between the robot system and external plant components. Both the DSQC 651 board designation and article number 3HAC025784-001 identify this replacement component. The version provides eight digital inputs and eight digital outputs. The inputs operate at a rated voltage of 24 VDC; a range of 15 to 35 V is documented for a logical high signal. The digital outputs have short-circuit protection, current limiting and thermal overload protection. Their rated current is 500 mA per channel at 24 VDC. The module also has two analog outputs that are galvanically isolated from the controller electronics. They supply 0–10 VDC with 12-bit resolution and include short-circuit protection. The connectors are separated by function: X1 carries the digital outputs, X3 the digital inputs, X5 the DeviceNet connection and X6 the analog outputs. The device detects the DeviceNet baud rate automatically and supports Polled, Change-of-State and cyclic connections, including versions with acknowledgement suppression. ABB specifies a 24 VDC supply for the unit; external use requires a separate customer-provided supply. The external I/O version is prepared for DIN rail mounting, has IP20 protection and is specified for ambient temperatures up to +65 °C. The corresponding ABB dimensional drawing specifies a width of 100 mm, a height of 160 mm and a depth of 60 mm. The visible /00 revision marking forms part of the complete identity of the offered unit.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Contact us
Which signals does the ABB DSQC 651 provide?

The module has eight digital inputs, eight digital outputs and two galvanically isolated analog outputs with 0–10 VDC and 12-bit resolution.

What are the dimensions of the external DSQC-651-I/O unit?

The ABB dimensional drawing for the external DSQC-651-I/O unit specifies 100 × 160 × 60 mm for width, height and depth.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.

Which payment terms apply?

The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.

Can I request individual pricing for several items?

You may request an individual quotation for several items or larger quantities. We then check availability and pricing for the specific requirement; there is no entitlement to a quantity discount. Open the quick enquiry.

Do you also purchase industrial spare parts?

Yes. You can offer us automation and drive components for purchase. Please provide complete type numbers, quantities, condition details and photographs where possible.

After review, we will tell you whether a purchase is possible and on which terms. Learn more about selling industrial stock.
