Product description

The ABB F204A-100/0 is a four-pole residual current circuit breaker from the F200 A series for electrical distribution systems with a rated current of 100 A. The type A version detects sinusoidal alternating residual currents and pulsating direct residual currents. The device family is rated for 230/400 V AC at 50–60 Hz, with a rated impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV and a conditional rated short-circuit current of 10 kA when used with the specified upstream fuse. The enclosure has four switching poles, a contact position indicator, IP4X protection at the enclosure and IP2X protection at the terminals. Conductors connect at the top or bottom through protected cage terminals; versions above 63 A accept conductors up to 35 mm². A quick-release clip mounts the unit on a 35-mm DIN rail to EN 60715 in any mounting position. The 100-A version measures 85 × 69 × 70 mm and weighs 380 g. The designation F204A-100/0 identifies only the common variant stem. Several technically different versions exist with different rated residual currents. No individual trip current is therefore stated; that value must be taken solely from the complete marking on the specific device. Type A characteristic, four poles, 100 A rating and enclosure size remain the secure identification features.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Contact us
Which rated residual current applies to the ABB F204A-100/0?

The available designation ends in /0 and does not distinguish between the ABB versions with 0.1 A, 0.3 A or 0.5 A. The exact rated residual current is shown by the complete marking on the specific device.

Which residual current forms does the type A version detect?

Type A detects sinusoidal alternating residual currents and pulsating direct residual currents. The protection concept for a specific installation is determined from the complete device marking and the electrical system.

What applies if an item develops a defect within 14 days?

For the condition categories “Used, removed from an installation” and “New, old stock”, the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect applies. The defect must occur within 14 calendar days after delivery and be reported in text form within the same period.

In particular, the REHA tamper-evident seal must remain fully intact and our RMA approval is required before return. In an accepted case, we decide between replacement and refund. Details in Section 11 of the Terms.

Which shipping methods and delivery times are available?

The shipping method, shipping cost and estimated delivery time are confirmed for the specific order. Depending on the item, destination and urgency, we can check parcel, express or freight shipping as well as collection.

A delivery date is binding only if we expressly confirm it as binding.

Which payment terms apply?

The payment terms stated in the checkout or order confirmation apply. Depending on the order and customer, payment is made in advance or against invoice.

International deliveries and deliveries to new customers are generally made against advance payment unless we expressly confirm another payment arrangement.

Can I return an item ordered incorrectly or found incompatible?

No. There is no general B2B right of return, exchange, cancellation or withdrawal. Incorrect or duplicate orders and a lack of suitability or compatibility with the customer’s installation are not covered by the contractual 14-day right of return in the event of a defect. Details in Section 12 of the Terms.

Can I request individual pricing for several items?

You may request an individual quotation for several items or larger quantities. We then check availability and pricing for the specific requirement; there is no entitlement to a quantity discount. Open the quick enquiry.

Do you also purchase industrial spare parts?

Yes. You can offer us automation and drive components for purchase. Please provide complete type numbers, quantities, condition details and photographs where possible.

After review, we will tell you whether a purchase is possible and on which terms. Learn more about selling industrial stock.
